Burgundian IPA

Beer made in Burgundy? Brasserie de Vézelay have an exciting lineup of organic beers. The brewery is located in Vézelay, just west of Dijon. It was founded in 2012 by Marc Neyret. All their beers are organic (Bio). No additives or sugar is added to their beers. Just high quality water, malt and hops. Water quality is important to brewing beer. They use a natural spring nearby for their water. The IPA is not your typical over the top American IPA. It is very balanced using an Alsatian hop, Strisselpat. Notes of fresh cut grass and citrus. It has a smooth texture and is quite easy drinking for an IPA.
