Guyon Vosne

Jean Pierre and Michel took over the estate from their parents in 1991. They are the 3rd generation. They have grown the family estate and now have more sites in Burgundy. More recently they have been certified organic (2012) but were farming organically many years before that. Their wines are traditional in style letting the fruit do the talking. Oak is applied but the wines are in balance.

The climat ‘En Orveaux’ is right next to the Grand Cru Echézeaux high up on the slope. Chambolle Musigny is directly north. The 1999 is structured and rather quite young on the palate. Plenty of fruit with the oak fully integrated. Much more time left for this wine but its beautiful right now as well.
