Bio Bordeaux Blanc

Béatrice and Pierre Labuzan along with their two sons are the team behind Chateau de Monbazan. This Graves Blanc is the first wine I’ve had from their Estate. I’m definitely looking forward to trying the Graves Rouge. Their wines are very affordable, especially for being certified Bio. Chateau de Monbazan Graves Blanc is made from all organic/biodynamic fruit in the Graves region of Bordeaux. Composed of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle, the estate has been biodynamically faming these vines since 1963. The blanc is mineral driven with notes of white flowers, green melon and lemon zest. Sémillon dominates this blend and adds a creamy richness to the palate. Some Bordeaux Blancs can be flabby if Sémillon is the main component. This wine not flabby at all. Very balanced, fresh and acidic. Originally posted to instagram.com/culinairegourmet
