Summer is not the only time for rosé. On a crisp fall day I crave for a glass before finishing the wine night off with a red. Christian and Sophie Estève’s wines from Corsica are the real deal. They are known for using clay amphorae. This rosé however, is vinified in cement. Made from the much debated Corsican indigenous grape Nielluccio, this wine is fresh, wild and full of energy. Truly a terroir driven rosé from the eastern side of the island. It will stand up to a lot of hearty fall meals and is an ideal pairing with charcuterie.
