Régis Minet SB

Like many winemakers in France, Régis Minet grew up in the family business. His grandfather had a tiny plot of land in Pouilly-sur-Loire that Régis took over in 1976. The Domaine has expanded since and now they have 11 hectares divided over 12 plots. Their Sauvignon Blanc vines are planted on clay and limestone soils and kimmeridgian marl soils. They make 3 wines all from Sauvignon Blanc. The wines are extremely fresh, vibrant, and mineral driven. The Désert is from a single parcel: Le Désert. Flinty and citrusy, it made a perfect apéritif.
